Code 32 messed up the factory badly, the Menders are out of control!

I don't have time to go fixing all of them, can someone come and whack them for me?

Factory Entrance

Worker: Malbee? I think she's chatting with the Overseer.

Overseer's Office

[Spy Malbee]

Vi: Bleh. Taking her posting is like working for her again…

Leif: We can charge her extra, if it makes you happy.

Vi: Great idea!

(minibubble) Kabbu: You two...

[first talk]

Overseer: Oh, Vi! You've come back!

Vi: This might pay well, so…

Leif: The robot things are having issues, yeah?

Malbee: Indeed. The Code 32 incident caused plenty of trouble, and I had to fix all of them.

Malbee: The Menders are durable and reliable, but some of them went haywire despite my efforts.

Malbee: I don't have time to look for all of them, so I need you to go in my stead.

Kabbu: We're not qualified engineers, so... How do we fix the Menders?

Malbee: Easy. Just whack them until their system resets.

Kabbu: What? H-Hit them? What about their feelings!?

Leif: Kabbu, machines don't have feelings.

(minibubble) Kabbu: And if they do...?

Malbee: They don't indeed. Just go and reset them, no matter how many whacks it takes.

Malbee: There should be 3 around the processing areas of the factory.

Vi: You better have a reward ready! Let's move, team!

[talk again]

Malbee: There are 3 broken Menders in the factory's processing area. Trust me, one look and you'll know which ones broke.

Overseer: The Menders normally just follow their programming, but sometimes they can go a bit... crazy.

Overseer: Pay no mind to their babbling while in that state.

Processing: Malbee, training obstacle course, connecting pump room

[talk to mender]

[fight, during mender turn, selected randomly]

Mender: READING DATA: THREE BUGS, DETECTED AS VERY HOSTILE. ASKING FOR PITY... ERROR.

Mender: PITY DIRECTORY NO LONGER EXISTS. PLEASE CHECK DATA INTEGRITY.

Mender: SUBJECT FOUND: VI#@&*... ERROR, DATA IS CORRUPTED. RESET REQUIRED.

Mender: REPEAT, RESETTING REQUIRED. PLEASE CALL MALBEE FOR REPAIRS.

Mender: THE COMMAND "reset.bug" WAS NOT FOUND IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT.

Mender: PLEASE INSTALL NECESSARY FILES AND RESTART YOUR MACHINE.

Mender: MISSING ENERGY REGULATION; OVERHEATING: 300%; EM.OT. COMPONENT BROKEN.

Mender: REPLACE IMMEDIATELY! HELP! HELP!

Mender: MISSING DIRECTIVE AND PURPOSE, STARTING QUOTE: < WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?! >

Mender: Mender reset complete.

[beaten all three]

Leif: That's all of 'em. A bit disappointingly easy...

Vi: Easy money's still money! Let's go get that reward!

(minibubble) Kabbu: Poor things...

Overseer's Office

[talk after fixing]

Malbee: You've fixed them, haven't you? My radar's confirmed it.

Kabbu: It was emotionally draining…

Overseer: The Menders weren't made to fight, only to do simple tasks.

Overseer: Thank you. H.B.'s inventions have been going way out of control recently.

Malbee: Well, I must congratulate you, Vi. I really want you to come back and work for us.

Vi: In your dreams!

Vi: Exploring's right where I belong.

Malbee: ...Regardless of my bias, it's good to see you've found your calling.

Malbee: You've earned this. Thanks for helping us again.

Vi: Woah! This one's really rare!

Overseer: It would really be nice to have you back with us, Vi. But I know you'd hate it…

Malbee: I do think you've got a future here, Vi.

Vi: I'll live. Exploring's way more fun!
